Requirements to Check UID Status:
People who want to check the status should have the enrollment slip with them. It is not possible to check without the slip.

So what is EID? EID is a 28 digit number that is in the acknowledgment slip of the Aadhaar registration.
It has two parts. The first 14 digit is the enrollment number. The last 14 digits are the time and date of aAdhar enrollment.
You need the enrollment number to check offline through SMS. In case of online you need the EID to check Aadhaar status online.
Aadhar Card Status Enquiry Online:
If you want to inquiry the enrolment status online, you need an internet connection. Once you have the above-mentioned document, follow the below steps.
- Go to the official UIDAI website www.uidai.gov.in.
- Next, search for the “Check Aadhaar Status”.
- Now click on the link.
- Next enter the enrollment number.
- Enter the date and time after that.
- Now enter the security code as shown.
- Finally, click on “Check Status” button.

Adhar Card Status Enquiry through SMS:
This method is suitable if you do not have internet. This process is not free. The network operator might charge for the SMS. However, it is straightforward and convenient.
In this method, you just need to send a text message. The format of the SMS is below. 51969 is the number on which you need to send.
SMS Format: UID STATUS <14 digit enrollment number>.
After sending the SMS wait for some time. You will receive a reply on the phone which will contain your Adhar card status.
If you send the text from your registered phone number, then you will also receive your Aadhaar number.
Adhar Card Status Check:
So those were the two methods for checking Aadhaar status. People get mistakes in their UID card.
